I have a passion for filmmaking and a deep understanding of the principles of effective storytelling. Editing is where my 20 years in video and TV production skills converge, ensuring the projects I work on have maximum entertainment and emotional value.

[MOVIE INTRO] AUSTRALIA DAY MOVIE SPECIAL | SBS

SBS asked me to edit this movie intro for Hunt For The Wilderpeople – a New Zealand film to be shown on Australia Day. To fill in some over-lay, I wrote the animated segments which were designed and animated by SeeGee Studio.

[TV RECAP] FARGO | SBS

SBS commissioned me to cut episode recaps and teasers for the second season of Fargo. Since the recaps played right before each episode, I intentionally kept each piece within the style and tone of the series, providing reminders as to key story points and creating excitement to encourage viewers to stay watching.

[TV SEASON RECAP] VIKINGS SEASON 4 RECAP | SBS MATURE CONTENT

SBS needed a re-cap of Vikings before premiering the new one, so they commissioned me to edit this epic season recap. If you haven't watched season 4... spoiler alert.

[TV TITLE SEQUENCE] Murder Calls | NINE NETWORK | LIGHTRISE

Working with Lightrise, I edited the base of this title sequence which the designers built the motion graphics over.

Here's an adorable little film I edited for Lightrise who produced a polished piece about a celebrity cake decorator from the US and his visit to Australia.

[TV REEL] MOVIE MAYHEM | SBS VICELAND

Commissioned by SBS, I've been responsible for handling the creative post production and editing of hundreds of comedic movie intros for SBS Viceland's Movie Mayhem. Each week for several years I edited and delivered multiple segments that introduced cult movies with host Marc Fennell. I have also directed over 30 of these intros. Here's a look-back at some of the mayhem.

This intro is typical of the format we developed for Movie Mayhem involving a comedy piece and film montage. I edited this intro, setting the mood for the David Lynch season. EP/Director Damian McDermott.

[MUSIC VIDEO] KATIE NOONAN Quicksand | LIGHTRISE

I edited this music video for director Gavain Browne who was after a moody, monochromatic performance piece from Katie Noonan.

[MUSIC VIDEO] WREN Secrets | VIENNA PEOPLE

Here's another monochromatic music video – it's one of the most complex editing projects I've ever had the pleasure to solve – displaying every sound loop used to create the song. It won the UK Songwriting Contest 2017 for Best Music Video.
